09/11/2007 | WA1RKS Well I had big plans for all kinds of antenna changes, that never prevailed,work load business took care of that. (Gotta make dem sheckles!) Anyway I had a nice eyeball with Jack WA2IID/R,and his co-hort in crime Tom KB2SSS,they stopped by on their way up thru to their first site/camp. Thanks guys nice setup Jack really well planned and efficient setup.Contest went well, first one with additional 20 el on 432,gained but not a real banger, will be when I get the other 40 el up with them. Was able to work a lot of stations SSB on 432,that were always CW musts, in the past, so the addition helped. had a great time as always but of course one always looks for better propagation,ducts, E's or whatever the RF Gods will allow!Will have the changes made for the SS for sure, don't know about the Sprints comming up we will try! so 73 All, gud dx and keep dem itty bitty waves moving! de Ellis Wa1rks -- WA1RKS
