09/14/2007 | KI7JA Not having the funds to go out to some new grid locator, and, not having replaced everything damaged in the June contest, I operated from home. Operating from home is always difficult, because of extreme powerline noise. The noise was S9 on 6M, S6 on 2M, and I even had noise at 1296. Somehow I managed to pull out 115 qso's. There was less participation than there has been in previous contests. Band conditions were also poor from the Pacific NW. Still, it was an enjoyable contest.
