11/05/2007 | K5IX/KH6 I want to thank the operators who took the time to copy my weak signal from the big island of Hawaii... although having only a ground mounted vertical and long wire for 15, 20 and 40 meters I tried to overcome being tired from the flight out here...but sleep sometimes got the better of me and took quite a few hours from my operation... rain static didnt help much either...
Rigs used were a Yaesu FT-100 on the vertical for 15 and 20 meters and a Kenwood TS-50 with autotuner for 40 meters through a long wire..all with 100 watts.
I hope I helped out some ops that needed PAC
