11/06/2007 | N8QE The ARRL November Sweepstakes (CW) contest has turned into a battle of automated computer CW stations. I ran into very few real fists during the contest. Most of the contacts were computer generated CW. The CW was too perfect. After 41 years in Ham Radio operating CW contests, I guess will no longer operate CW contests. It was not fun this year. I won't be submitting my log.

I would hope the ARRL would look at a new category for automated computer generated CW stations versus the old fashioned manual key generated CW stations. That's the only way I would return to CW contesting....Bob -- N8QE
