11/21/2007 | AA4Q I was going to be away on a camping trip and decided to bring the FT900 and a dipole and make a few contacts. I could only get the antenna up about 6' in a bush and the battery didn't like full power so I operated QRP. It was just like Field Day with the radio sitting on the tailgate. Ended up making 50 QSOs. -- AA4Q
