11/20/2007 | K6RJ I was able to put in about 12 hours of casual contesting this time around. A lot of interruptions and extended breaks were the order of the contest. Still I managed over 200 Qs and 70 sections in all, mostly on 20 and 40 meters. 80 meters had the best new section per QSO ratio though. Not too shabby for 100 watts into a vertical in search and pounce mode.

It was worth it all when I finally logged N1LI in Maine on 80 meters. Thanks for being on the air guys! They were one of only 2 ME stations I heard all weekend. Hopefully, the QSL will come in soon to complete my WAS!

All in all a great time was had and I am definitely looking forward to next year. -- K6RJ
