12/20/2007 | K5LMB This was my first solo contest entry. I made 132 contacts and worked 52 sections on my first solo journey. I have enjoyed learning and contesting with my local club, W5UMS. I worked several contests, special event stations, and field day before venturing out contesting on my own. Thank you to Mike - W5MPC and Jerry KD5JHE for elmering me into contesting with our club, W5UMS. Thanks also goes to Doug - K5DSG who got me started in being a Ham.
