12/10/2007 | IO5O That to say we can talking about weather ? Yes, if that one had been good, at least we would have had the chance to get nice weekend in our beautiful countryside... but, perhaps it was to ask too much, however we are in December and , we cannot expect a lot for this.
Perhaps...we will expect to get funny days being locked up in the shack !!! NOooo ..... because it is to ask too much to the propagation to grant us one small opening!
Perhaps we had been optimistic in previewing that the 10 meter band, this year, would have been sufficient to obtain the same result of last year. A glimmer of hope was since in the previous CQ-WW-SSB we have realized 403 QSO in 28Mhz with several US stations. The conditions could be same indeed, perhaps best ones, since the contest it is concentrated in single band.
How many QSO? Little truly little. some friends, observing the operations via our Web-site, had suspected some breakdown to our radio stuff. Thinking about PROPAGATION, it has been "out of order", yes, it has decided to go off duty this weekend, no signals from US, no US multiplier.
Anyway we don't heard any UB4 also, it's a strange thing for us, because, where we are, we can heard they with the RIG swiched off. I believe, that the problem has been common to all Europe, considering the progressive exchange gave us from other stations.
