12/10/2007 | KF5KWO Enjoyed working the contest, especially on Friday night. Who says 10 is dead? Not me - until Saturday and Sunday - UGH! Worked 20 states (18 on Friday night, 2 on Saturday night), all SSB. Need to start doing CW in contests if I'm going to up my score.

Gear here was TS-520SE, 100W, homebrew 1/4-wave vertical for 40m (used tuner for 10m). My QTH is Helotes, TX, just NW of San Antonio. Attached pic shows a crude map of stations I worked (yes, I'm rather proud of this first full-blown participation in a contest, hahaha). -- KF5KWO
