12/11/2007 | N0URW Had plans to put up 4 element homebrew on 10 meters and take vacation day to work contest.. Didn't happen... Strung up a piece of wire from one tower over to tree and tuned it in to 10 meters... Due to work schedule only got on for few hours.. was suprised to hear and work stations in south / southeast..
Florida/Alabama/Tennessee/Georgia/Texas and Mississippi worked.. 34 qso total in three hours.. not great but better than nothing considering it was my 1st time in this 10 meter contest.. Will plan on much better next year if I survive New Years Eve Party.... Hope all the ice melts off my vhf/uhf antennas by ARRL January vhf contest. -- N0URW
