2007 ARRL 10 Meter Contest

What rough conditions here in the Piedmont of South Carolina!
Same as most ops I was looking forward to the contest, but shortly after it began I thought there was a problem with my antenna. So I switched from the vertical to the 40 meter horizontal loop and then to the 75 meter inverted "L". NOPE... not the antennas, just the propagation.
Ran mostly CW, but ended up with only 34 Q's, and 13 sections ! Definitely was an E-skip pipeline into Texas, accounting for over 1/3 of my contacts. Add the 4 into Oklahoma and you see that area being heavily favored.
Did manage to pick up 2 WA and 2 OR for my best "DX". Speaking of DX, all I heard was one XE station.
I see 13 South Carolina stations have already submitted logs. Well, I guess SOMEBODY has to hold up the bottom of the section scores!
