12/13/2007 | W6GMT I operated portable solar powered from the San Joaquin Valley of California. I ran this contest from my Scamp Trailer using Solar Power charging my Glass Matt battery.
My FT-857 was set at 10 Watts in to a Amtron 99 at 10 Feet.
18 contacts were made (TX, CO, CA and Argentina) Slow going but better than I thought TX contacts were at the start of the contest. CO and Argentina were Saturday only CA heard of Sunday. -- W6GMT
