2007 ARRL International EME Competition
I had a great time on EME this contest being only QRV on 6 mtr.
After being QRV on 2 mtr EME for some time I made my 1st contact off the moon with W1JJ using a single 6M7JHV and 500 Watts in januari 2006.
After this nice contact I decided to improve my station and started building 4 x 6M7JHV and a bigger amplifier.
On August 4 2006 my new setup was ready and the performance turned out to be excellent.
Since this date I completed over 120 QSOs on 6 mtr EME with 55 initial calls.
I managed to add 3 first contacts from PA to the list working ZL3TY, ZL8R and DX0JP.
Most of the stations worked are single yagi stations working me while they are on there moonrise or near to there moonset.
I decided to participate in this contest to see how it would perform and did quiet well.
Found the condx in the 1st leg a bit better, signals were much stronger on 6 mtr. Than in the 2nd leg.
Found activity in the 2nd leg higher especially from the US, you can also see this on my logsheet.
My results are 33 QSOs 27 initial calls, 10 DXCC (excl. US) and 8 US states
Giving me a total of 48.600 points
Looking forward to the 2008 50 MHz contest with hopefully my new station.
Currently building 8 x 6M11JKV on a 20tons mobile crane.

Thanks again for a nice contest.
