12/15/2007 | N9JIM Had a fantastic time operating at the Jamesburg Earth Station in California. We had a great crew working on the system for a full year. The ARRL EME Contest was the highlight of the year for us. We were able to run both 144 and 1296 at the same time with 2 stations!
The 97ft (29.7 meter) dish performmed fantastically on both bands.

Unfortunately we could only operate on the 1st weekend. But in the 2nd weekend we got together at my home and put up a 4' dish (a little smaller!) and proceeded to work OZ4MM for my first EME QSO from home!

We hope to operate the Jamesburg Earth Station again in the future. We are also searching for any help in supporting our future efforts.
