2008 ARRL Straight Key Night

During the 2008 SKN event I worked for few hours and made 17 QSO,s mostly with USA stations and made contacts with EA5AUC,F3DIA and HP1AC.The cw is sweet music to ears and has nice melody made by hand.
During the time worked bringed to my memory my first QSO in cw using an old navy knob with KF2IK Mark, on 01JAN 1994 and with shake on my
fist.He encouraged me by saying; "your speed will get better real fast,keep at it"
I used an old J38 straight key that belonged to Ildefonso Diaz KP4AW who is a SK since 2001. I made the transmission in his honor.The best fist was HP1AC and most interesting QSO was with W9VBQ.
Most of the activity in CW was in 80 mtrs,40 mtrs and 20 mtrs. Many SKCC stations heard. Tnx to all stations that worked me. Hope to see you guys in 2009 SKN. 73
