SKN was a lot of fun as usual. It is wonderful to see the CW bands so full of signals and some strange signals at that....including mine! I was running the T22/ARC-5 on 40M putting 30W into a dipole. 20M activity was handled by a vintage Knight T50 feeding 30W to a loop. Receiving chores were handled by a Drake R4B. Dots and dashes were made by my old novice key, a Navy flameproof type, and a relatively new big brass Kent pump key. Propagation seemed to be not as good as last year but that didn't diminish the enjoyment. An ARC-5 to ARC-5 QSO with K6LQI was memorable as was working N9OHW operating FD style with a KX-1 and a wire at only five feet. -- AE6C
