01/02/2008 | W9GLG I missed SKN last year. This year I was happy to make a lot of contacts and to listen to some of the best CW straight key worked in a long time. I listened to K4BKD make 4 contacts and he had the best fist I heard. W9BV and W4MY had a close second. I must also give credit to those who had not work with a straight key in a long time. Some code was hard to copy but hay; I could still copy it so it was good. With all the QSOs I heard I must say that they all got my interest. Complaints of snow removal in the UP to testing a light bulb dummy load. I know Jim, K9LCK will remember our QSO this year.
