01/03/2008 | WA6OCP Every year I spend 364 days in anticipation of SKN. Of course, I have to wait one more day during a leap year; hi hi. What I didn't anticipate this year was a head cold at the worst possible time, but I was determined to not be an SK on SKN.

To provide a vintage touch to my non-vintage 746PRO, I used a Navy CRL 26012 key mounted on a piece of cedar from a cigar box. A very smooth and agile key, and if I ever find another one, I will buy it immediately.

A thank you to all of the stations that suffered through my cold modulated CW and mental lapses in continuity. CU all next year on my K3.
