01/04/2008 | W1TPB I spent New Years Eve and most of New Years day on SKN, but made only 15 contacts. The reason being they were lengthy half hour or more enjoyable QSOs. The most interesting QSO was with K9VKY who was using a WW2 spy radio. This year I used a new LTA Spanish key purchased for SKN. Next year I'm going to use my 90 year old navy key again as it much easier to operate. Enclosed is a photo of the two straight keys and my Vibroplex paddle. Cu next year. 73, Ted N.
