01/06/2008 | VE3LC I really enjoyed participating in SKN 2008 with my Johnson Viking Ranger transmitter and Drake 2B receiver. I spent a couple of weeks cleaning up the old equipment for the event. I was especially in heaven when K1DC responded to my Chirpy CQ SKN with a Chirpy signal of his own from his old 1930's Collins transmitter. It was like listening to the past when I got my ham licence back in the early 60's. Great Fun..
