01/21/2008 | N6ZE/ROVER I did the Whidbey Island (WA) Rove (with a short side trip to Mt. Erie on in Accacortes, WA.) I activated CN87 & CN88 on 6m, 2m, & 70cm.
Temps ranged 2 deg C - 6 deg C. A bit of snow noted atop Mt. Erie.

I operated from my 500 ft hilltop in Clinton (CN87tw); on a 200 ft hill in Freeland (CN88), a 100 ft hill in Coupeville (CN88), & 1200 ft Mt. Erie (CN88).

Conditions weren't duper, but lots of Seattle, Vancouver, BC, & Victoria, BC stations were on.

I made about 95Qs and worked 12 sections for scoring purposes.
6m: 23Q; 2m: 55Q; & 70cm: 17Q. A few CW & FM QSOs were made.
