01/22/2008 | N3AWS Worked only one station in my own grid (EM50). Heard a few others but no success. I heard W2GFF on CW twice during the contest with a pretty good signal both times. Using the UP/DOWN buttons on the 706's mic, I tried answering him, but no response.

I was set up for 6, 2 and 0,7 meters. Sometimes QRPp is frustrating.

I will be re-stationed in Korea before the June contest. That is a one year "remote" assignment. So I guess my next VHF contest will be June 09 best case scenario.

If anyone reading has been stationed at Kunsan AFB, South Korea, I'd love to hear from you!
