02/18/2008 | N2JNZ Had fun !! First time working QRO (100w)!! Worked 40 meters only and got 6 KH6-KH7 stations along with ZM3A New Zealand !! 108 Qs so not really bad I guess for a little gun!! Also used my VIBROPLEX 100th ANNIVERSARY BUG for all but 2 contacts !! The others were with a BENDIX MB-11B NAVAL FLAMEPRROF STRAIGHT KEY !!! Being a member of the Straight Key Century Club I gotten to enjoy the SK and Bug. Condx the first nite was very good to Europe for awhile then moved west to the Pacific but past 0500 I wasnt hearing much of anything. Rig here a Ten Tec Omni A and antenna a Half G5RV as a sloper up 40 ft. Thanks to the DX for all the fun !!! -- N2JNZ
