02/20/2008 | NU4B I thought conditions average considering where we are in the solar cycle. Made almost 200 QSO's running 4 watts with an HW-9. Antennas were a Butternut HF5B and a Carolina Windom 80 Short.
80 was a big disappointment. Didn't hear much on 10. I did worked LU1HF on 10 as my only QSO on that band.
20 meters was my best band. Most surprising QSO's were D2NX on a couple bands and VP6DX on 15.
Thanks to everyone who participated and made this a fun contest. Maybe next year conditions will improve a bit
