Had a great time operating vintage key and equipment during this year's SKN. 11 QSOs, most being ragchew style. It was great hearing all the chirpy, whoopy, buzzy signals on the band, in addition to the unmistakable straight key fists. Even some nice QRP QSOs. Remember that every night can be vintage straight key night! Don't just break out the straight key or vintage gear once a year!
Transmitter: Viking Valiant used with a combination of crystals and VFO. Receiver: Hallicrafters SX-101 Mk3. Key: 1874 Bunnell Camelback KOB.
