11/23/2009 | K3WQ I entered the contest on a whim, using my vintage Heathkit station. With a separate receiver and transmitter I had to do lots of knob twiddling to tune and spotvery busy! I only operated for four hours, but it was fun.

I made a showing on 15 meters, but couldnt make a contact. Perhaps 100W wasnt enough. Anyhow, glad to see the sunspots are back in action. Maybe the band will be active in a year or two.
