The Sky Valley Amateur Radio Club Field Day was held at the Lake Tye Park in Monroe, WA. The weather was moderate and no rain. We had the use of the City of Monroe's Emergency Communications bus which supplied power for the event with its generator. We ran a 4A operation with a vhf station and enjoyed the company of the model hydroplane boating event next to us. We had a good club turnout of 22 and some guests. 15m was slow to start but during the night 40m and 80m worked great. Food was great and lots eyeball qso's with everyone. Hope to hear everyone again next year. 73's
