My first QRP hilltop operation and besides the hike to the top it was great. Operated from the top of Saddle Mountain in CN85DX in Northwest Oregon. 3400 foot elevation and no noise because the closest power lines are miles away. My first DX on 2 meters and 432 thanks to VE7 land! Unfortunately no propagation enhancement this year for me and the socked in fog made the view non existent. Next year I intend to take a lighter pack and a MUCH smaller battery so as to not nearly meet my maker on the way up!!!
