Dwayne and I got married on the Saturday of November Phone Sweeps 2008 and after celebrating with family, we promptly ran down to W1AW to play and celebrate with our great friends Mary, K1MMH; Sean KX9X and Ward, N0AX.

We thus created WY7SS - Wyoming 7 SweepStakes, the Northeast Wyoming Contest Club. In 2009, we earned our first plaques for the shack for the Rocky Mountain Division Sweeps both CW and Phone. We set out this year to meet the Wyoming record (which we set last year) and hopefully earn another plaque this year. 

Guest Operators were Leo, WY7LL and Chris, WY7ML along with me (Katie, WY7KRA) and my wonderful husband Dwayne WY7FD. Our newest addition to the family is our new shack kitten Buttercup. She and her sister Sparks hung out in the shack nearly all weekend making a home either on one of the laptops or on the PW1. 

It was a great contest, we operated all 24 hours and once again broke the Wyoming record. We had a great time and look forward to the next contest!
