This is my first attempt at SKN.  I received my Novice in 1976 (WN5VSS) and for some reason, I never participated in SKN.  I can now see that will change. A few years ago I joined SKCC and then figured out I no longer owned a straight key.  As you can tell, the picture shows a home made junk box special.  It's named Madonna for only one specific reason. I'll let you figure that out for yourself.  However, I would like to thank the five tolerant hams who endured my inconsistent timing and spacing.  Thanks to: KO7X, N6SL, AC5P, KO8Z and W5JBV.  You would think that as an avid contester, with CW as my favorite mode of contesting, that I would have a decent straight key.  Next year will be better. Anybody got a J38? 73 to all, God Bless and Great DX, de N5VU
