I was looking foward to SKN and what better way to bring in the New Year  then to operate as K3Y/KL7 for the SKCC Club! I made 60 contacts contacting SK'ers in 28 states and 2 Canadian Provinces during my shift and I had a blast! The Straight Key Century Club has had my attention for a few years now and I very much enjoy manually generating this awesome mode with my Navy Flameproof Straight Key.  I was bit by the CW bug many years ago and there is no doubt that this mode will be here long after I'm gone due in part to the many clubs that promote it and events like SKN that keep the tubes glowing the the keys chirping. CW, it warms the heart AND the shack!
