This was my first year joing a group that has been setting up for Field Day in South Park Basin, Colorado, for about 7 years. (Yes, THAT South Park.)

The surrounding mountains still had a lot of snow, but we lucked out with nighttime temperatures above freezing. A spectacular place to work Field Day, though the occasional antelope or free-ranging cattle wandered nearby. Our main worry, in fact, was that the free-range cattle might tred upon our coaxes at night.

Lots of 31PSK, CW and phone activitiy from our 2A station, and a view to die for from the shack. We're already planning next year.
