As I had done in 2008, I operated KB9UIY 1B, QRP portable from Southwest Ohio.  We were hoping to get the Rifles & Radios team together for this year's event, but for some reason people keep electing to get married on this weekend in June!!!  (a good friend's wedding cost me FD2010...).  Conditions were better than my previous attempts, and my skills continue to improve.  Thank you to everyone who dug my little 5 Watt phone signals out of the mud, as a gentleman out in the Canadian Maritimes told me on 20 Meters during Sunday afternoon, "we're doing this one the hard way".  And that was certainly the case at times.  However, in almost all cases we were able to complete the Q's, even if QSB was really hammering me.  Look forward to seeing all of you during FD2012!!!
