Had a great time, even if I only went to my back yard! Parked myself under a raywood ash tree for shade.  I used my IC-703 QRP rig that I installed in a wooden box I made myself last Spring.  Power supply was one of those self contained portable car battery jumper / starters with built in charger.  5 watts out to a Buddipole Deluxe at 8 feet.  Worked 50 stations including several East Coast and Hawaii stations all on 20 meters.  I think that is a fairly good result for casual operating.
