2011 ARRL Field Day
This Field Day was one of the best in the Beaver Valley ARA's recent history. All of the bands were in good shape, the weather was very pleasant, our new antennas including a portable tower for the triband beam worked very well, and our networked PCs for logging made operating very enjoyable.
We had both young and old operators. Licensed boy scouts from our local troop joined us as usual and topped all other stations as their 10 meter band was wide open. Our satellite station added another dimension to our operating.
With a large share of bonus points, with all of the good food, with 647 total contacts for our 6A WPA operation, we all had fun!
