The Genesee County Radio Club Operated 3A this year for Field Day. We had over 30 people stop by and see our setup over the weekend. One of our new Young hams Jeff, (KD8QIQ) who is 14, made a bunch of contacts on Saturday, his Mom dropped him off Saturday Morning and he stayed until 11pm that night. My wife Amy showed him what each button did on the IC-7000 and off he went just racking them up.

We made a bunch of CW and Voice Contacts, but the main thing is we all got together and had fun and refreshed our emergency preparedness skills.
