I want everyone out there to know about our club.

THE GREAT SOUTH BAY ARC.

What a great gruop of members we have to set up a Field day site like this one is no easy task. I am W2HCB president of this great club and I want to say Thank you to all of you that helped out. We had 2 towers up with 4 beams and 7 dipoles up.

The whole site ran off 2 generators a solar powered station ran on 20 meters for a short while. The clubs Communications and Educational trailer was used for 3 stations and the server for the network system. We had vists from the Town of babylon Emegerncy Director and the local Police dept and fire dept personal. The hudsion vice director W2UDT and the SM N2YBB a. All were impressed at what they saw.

We had the police explorers at the site setting up caution tape to keep people away from the tower fall area they also got to operate radios for a short time and eveyone enjoyed WB2OQQ demo on Satellite tracking,
