Well still don't have my permenant antennas up yet.Tower is finally up. now to start antennas and feedlines etc. so worked this contest with temp setup I used in June. I'm still amazed at what I can work with this setup.especially 432 mhz . As you can see in picture its only abt 6 ft off the ground. 2m is only abt 8ft.I had contacts on 432 out to 278miles with this setup.In June contest,calling CQ,W3WS responded from FN01!  As I said in June's post "You can do a lot, with a litte" sometimes anyway. I just wanted to get in and dole out points. One contact op (k2qo/r I think) mentioned he has seen my call and posts here before, I forgot to get his call, not sure if it was k2qo or not. But in any event tnxs for the thoughts per this medium. So hopefully I will have "Real" antennas up for Jan SS. look for me then! till then 73 gud dx!
