What a (band) improvement over the past few years. We could actually hear and work Europe. Europe opened right on time at sun up, both days, and stayed around for several hours.

The band was open east/west, with several extended periods to the west coast. Mid-states as well as the mid-east coast were missing. Having W1's in California and K6's in Massachusetts is hard to get used to.

My primary computer decided to have a meltdown of the hard drive on day #1. The backup laptop pc wouldn't recognize the program that I was using. Thank goodness for those old fashion hand written scraps of paper, called log books. Hopefully I can piece together something that will approximate a log.

The antenna SWR was increasing as I went, so antenna work is on the list this year. Maybe a new antenna, to replace the 40 year old tri-bander.
