Operated from my VHF contest station site. SOHP PHONE only. Antenna is a 6 element yagi that I built 30+ years ago. Started at 0630 local time on Saturday morning and Europe was already starting to come in. Finally pulled the plug 12 hours later and the band was still open but I was cold, wind blows on the hill all the time. Just missed my goal of 1K Q's by 50. Sunday operated a couple of hours in the morning then off to church, Started again about 1:30 pm and finally quit at 5:30 pm local time, got cold again. Reached both my goals that I set for myself. Wound up with 1200 Q's and over 300K points. Worked 64 DX, 47 states, half the states in Mexico and most of Canada. Not bad for sitting on one freq. and calling CQ Contest. Best of all, I had FUN.
