Have  been licensed since 1955.  My first SKN was in 2006, haven't missed one since.

I made 22 Qs this year.  As usual I read the mail a lot too.  One thing I noted was that many of us need to practice a lot more, our sending was pretty sloppy this year.

It was nice to encounter Bob, KB8TL with his homebrew rig (6146).  K2LMQ's Millen 90801 certainly captured my attention as did others like WA7OET's Viking Ranger that sounded so good like an old rig should.  There were several others too.

I overheard K7FD tell KA1LOA that he was using a miniature camelback key that he found in his Christmas stocking, now folks that is a really nice stocking stuffer!!!

It was a fun event but guys, many of us seriously need to work on our sending skills and be back in 2013.
