I had a lot of fun ringing in the New Year 2012 participating in SKN for 2012. I used a Vintage Yaesu FT-301D I obtained & repaired in 2011 along with my Nye Viking SpeedX hand key.  Either the Propogation conditions were poor or there were not too many on the air there were not a lot of stations on the air. I managed to have a few good QSO's and "read the mail" on  few more.
