Per long-established tradition, the Radio Club of Tacoma clubhouse was open New Year’s Eve, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM local time, for SKN.  We had a great turnout of about 45 club members, families and friends during the course of the afternoon and evening.  Some got on the air for enjoyable, conversational CW QSOs using straight keys and bugs.  Others listened and copied along (one fellow on his 1942 Underwood), or simply enjoyed the company and refreshments.  Eight different operators made 16 contacts using the 20, 40 and 80 meter stations that had been set up for the event.
