This event was a blast!  After a year off the air (Control Operator illness), K1BBS was back in business.  62 participants made 584 contacts with stations around the country and the world.  One participant exclaimed, amist all the excitement, ... "ham radio is an adventure."  When it was all over at 24:00 UTC Friday, the person behind the microphone continued talking for another hour and a half.  The rest of us (4) kept looking at each other wondering if she knew the event was over.  She did ... but was having too much fun to quit.  Students are already planning for next year ... forming teams and coming up with unique team names.  Next up ... the "QSL card party" ... where we munch and answer the 50+ QSL cards we have received.  Thanks to all the stations who contacted K1BBS.  It was an experience that woll not be forgotten.
