Several interesting events this year.  At Miami airport, chance meeting with Harry AC8G on his way to J37K, sadly hours later in the contest I would work Harry from his home qth with the airlines having no idea where his bags went....

On the Stack, the Lower TH7 had poor SWR.  Carl & Sue had made several trips up tower since before the CW test and battled the problem.    Thursday morning before SSB contest the battle was complete with the Lower TH7 once again an antenna and formable weapon of RF.  This was to be a major point maker as the lower TH7 had much lower noise.

Carl encouraged me to SO this SSB weekend which ended up being the operation.  Carl & Sue providing the needed eats during the test!

The weekend conditions were a blast with ten meters a pipeline between stateside with nice high rates.    Another exciting ARRL SSB DX from Aruba
