We attempted to get up and running under 'emergency' power at the home station, but someone left last years gasoline sitting in the generator's fuel tank. Looked more like yesterdays coffee grounds. Then the backup generator's manual start pull cord broke, and me with no phillips head screw driver in the tool box. And the backup to the backup generator was no where to be seen. AWOL? So, no 'emergency' power source.

Then the rope holding up the 40/20/15/10 meter dipoles decided to part company sometime during the night.

What else could go wrong?

Well, seems as though we must have gotten a close lightning strike recently. A couple singhed coax cables to the tower, and a melted grounding clamp on a tower leg kinda finished the day off. I didn't try out the rotor.

Wonder if I can have all these things fixed by Field Day 2013? I'll put them on the (honey do) list.
