Field Day from Western Montana was a blast again this year. We again operated from the remote recreational Hogan Cabin deep in the Beaverhead National Forest. Even though the propagation wasn't near as good as last year we were better prepared with antennas. We operated 1A and worked a total of 454 good contacts with CW, PSK, and phone. 6 meter opened a little saturday evening to southern california and gave us 7 contacts. We never heard any signals on 10M. Our new antennas we built gave us over a 100 more contacts over last years attempt. We ate like kings and had a ball.
