I worked FD from home this year, not enough club interest in FD so it was cancelled for 2012. The bands seemed better on Saturday here in the North East. I ran high power, FT-2K driving a Tokyo 750w all solid state amp feeding a DX Engineering 43' vertical over 165 feet of # 6 copper radials. I worked all sections almost in thier entirety. I would like to answer Joel Hallas's question on how do the 43 foot verticals work ?  Well Joel, my 43' vertical works great, 100% better than the Huster Trapped vertical it replaced. As always the 8's, 9's and zero's were in plentiful supply here in NY with great signals. Thanks to you guys on the West coast for calling me for an NLI contact !
