For the fourth year in a row, WD9EWK was on the air for Field Day from the Garland Prairie Vista picnic area in the Kaibab National Forest, along old US-66 about 20 miles/32km west of Flagstaff AZ (grid DM45ag).  WD9EWK was on the air for about 8 hours, until it started getting dark in the forest on Saturday evening.  Although the QSO count was one less than 2011's Field Day effort, WD9EWK made more satellite QSOs than last year.
