Yet another year of fun and good eats at our Northern Michigan Field Day location, the FPL (Flaming Porcupine Lodge). We had 5 operators and operated 3A with a 6 meter and a GOTA station. The band conditions were not as good as last year; our 6 meter man made 0 Q’s this year, but the food and the WX were great.  Last year was the year of Murphy, but this year he must have found someone else to visit as we had little to no problems other than the ones we created for ourselves. Our number one CW-op N8LJ, fresh off of a T32 DXpadition last February, was really in the groove and helped us put just short of 1000 Q’s in the log (A new record for our FPL operation.)  We all left tired and a little more overweight but we’re looking forward to next year.
